The Prince Noir Room is named after the terrific Prince of Wales, who in the year 1355, sacked and burned the Bastide (lower town). Considering the medieval city impregnable he retreated to Narbonne.
From this very spacious room (one of the two largest in our guest house), you can admire both the magnificent hundred-year-old olive tree in the courtyard and the ramparts that discouraged the Prince of Wales.
